Beijing becomes most preferred city among global tourists

According to the Beijing Times, the Australia 21st Century Innovation Assessment Center, a new and vigorous international assessment institute, announced the result of "Global Tourists in Beijing" assessment last weekend. Results show that Beijing has become the most preferred city among global tourists.

From August 10 to 16, the center made a survey in English at 10 places in Beijing, including Sanlitun, Yong'anli, Panjiayuan, the entrances of the Olympic Villiage, Dongdaqiao, Fengtai stadium, Wangfujing, Qianmen, and Xidan. The 992 valid questionnaires revealed that 89.1% foreign tourists came to Beijing for the first time; The Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Tian'an Men Square, the Forbidden City and Houhai are the most popular sites. Beijing roast duck, hot pot and lvdagun are the most popular local Beijing snacks. According to the statistics, Beijing became the most preferred city among global tourists, winning this position by a high margin.
